Barat Yusubov was born on January 8, 1978 in the village of Pirasora, Lerik region. In 1995, he finished his education at Pirasora village secondary school. In 1995-2001, he studied at the Faculty of Treatment and Prevention of Azerbaijan Medical University, and in 2001-2002, he did an internship in Nephrology at the Hemodialysis Department of the Scientific Surgery Center named after M. Topchubashov.

In 2002-2004, while in military service, he worked as the chief of the medical station. In 2004-2005, he worked as a nephrologist at the Nephrology Department of the Central Neftchilar Hospital, and in 2005-2009 at the Hemodialysis Department of the Scientific Surgery Center named after M. Topchubashov.

In 2009-2012, he worked as the head doctor of the Eurasia Clinic, and in 2012-2015, he worked as the head doctor of "Medistyle Hospital". Since 2015, he has been working as the head of the Hemodialysis Department of the Teaching Surgery Clinic of the Azerbaijan Medical University, as a nephrologist, and since 2019, he has been working as an assistant at the Department of Internal Medicine III of the Azerbaijan Medical University.

Chief consultant of "Medical Plaza Clinic" in 2015-2018, chief consultant of "HB Güven Clinic" in 2017, chief consultant of "SonoMed" hearing center in 2017-2019, "EGE Hospital" since 2018 worked as the Chairman of the Supervisory Board.

B. Yusubov founded the Society of Nephrologists in 2018 and was the chairman of the Society in 2018-2020. At the same time, he founded the Azerbaijan Association of Internal Medicine in 2022 and has been acting as the Chairman of the Association since 2022.

B. Yusubov participated in various conferences and symposiums. He is the author of 4 scientific articles
